Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter age is 3 yrs. she got lot of cough.doctor suggested for saline nebulization as she does take steam.can I use sodium chloride NS solution which is used for injection for nebulization or distilled water or normal drinking water with salt is also fine?

A. You will get vials of saline water from the chemist and that can be used for nebulisation and also steam inhalation will help avd give warm liquids to the child like soups

A. Hello dear parent! Always use saline water for nebulisation. Consult your doctor for evaluation and advice. Clarify all your concerns regarding this and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Try giving indirect steam inhalation. Serve healthy foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating.
