#asktheexpert my baby is suffering from cold and stuffy nose from yesterday night shall I give t minic syrup for cold and now her body slightly heats can I give p250 for fever.her age is 2 years 4 months weight 13.4kgs how much ml syrup can given for cold n fever according to her age n weight

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could behw associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
