#AskTheExpert my baby is one month old and suffering from cold...what to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also sro it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alecx cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with musterd oil
please give daily sun light exposure
please give indirect steam twice a day with steamer
please maintain hygiene properly with Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
