Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is donegyy and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracuetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

you may chew some Basil leaves as well as ajwain seeds which will help to increase your child immunity through breastmilk
please provide more and more breastfeeds to your child
