Q.
#asktheexpert my baby is 5 month old. I applied refined vegetable oil on baby skin for massage before bath unknowingly assuming it was gingerly oil to reduce body heat. am scared now. please help

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Don’t worry if skin of vaby is fine and no allergic reaction and vegetable oil is not harmful as it is edible so it will not harm the baby but in future take care

Shilpa SalwanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. please don't worry it is just one word mistake that happened and that oil will not harm the little one you just need to wash it off and apply I normal powder of baby to your little ones scan it will be helpful if you are worried you can also give raw milk bath to your child which will help in reducing the body heat
