#AskTheExpert my baby is 25 days old and has got baby acne...I have tried changing massage oil..switched to Sebamed massage oil..acne reduced but not completely gone..please suggest which soap and powder should be used... please also tell how to clean baby genitals..

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. dont put oil in summer. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

Hi As of now do not use any soap on the skin rather you should wait you should not use any soap or oil on the skin for the timing let these rashes settle down then you use anything also would advise you to just gently clean it with water apply little bit of soap and to that area open it a little and then just clean it with water and when you wipe up your child again you can you open that area and clean it with towel ge
