Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. just steam as baby is small .cough is common in this changing seasin. steam as a home remedy is a good that can be given to babies in a day at home only . For severe cough ascoril LS and montair like medication can be given .

In younger infants, make the call when symptoms start -- especially if your baby has a fever. Cold-like symptoms might actually signal a more serious illness, such as pneumonia or an ear infection. You'll feel better if you check on it.
