#AskTheExpert my baby boy sometimes itches his ears..my mother-in-law says to put mustard oil into his ears..is it safe or what else home remedy could be done for this?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes, you can put mustard oil in ears. Main cause of an itchy ear canal is soap or other irritants. Soap or shampoo can get trapped in the ear canal after showers.
It may be habit to pulling ear..
Ear wax, ear infection, may be reason for it ..high fever, start to wake up from sleep, excessive crying in that case do Consult ENT specialist.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Nope You should never put any oil into the years of the child the ENT doctor say that it can damage the years of the child so please don’t worry I agree that older people have these kind of things but you should not go ahead with a consultant ENT doctor
