#AskTheExpert My 6year old has suffered a cut from falling on a wire.. We hav given him tetanus shot.. Which ointment to apply on the cut? Also shud we keep is wrapped in dressing or keep the wound open? The cut is deep though not require stitches

A. if the child is cut injury you can apply t bact ointment there twice a day for five days to prevent some infection and consult your doctor for a proper examination for any other thing

A. Hello ma’am apply betadine I want to that area for the time being and cover it well till the time the won’t does not settle down a little bit after that once it settles there is no blood there is a little bit of skin on top of that then you can start applying coconut oil on to that for a faster healing
