Hi My daughter is 9months old. She got a cut on her toe with iron rod. Is there need for her to get tetanus shot?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. no. if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule.
if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor. d

I believe you should get it done because sometimes these things are of course rusted and can create a problem later so better to get an injection done as soon as you can for that you can check with your doctor with all the details and the doctor will advise you further on this
