#AskTheExpert my 1 yr 2m old is having cold for past 5 days first 2 days he had high fever.after giving antibiotic he started recovering.but i catched cold so again his got worsed. what to do now

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. complete the antibiotics course don't self medicate give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination

Cold and cough can take 3-9 days to get cured completely. Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
