Q.

my child is having high fever only at night...for the past 5 days...also whooping cough and cold...what to do

A. For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for rfever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. After giving fever mmedicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

I think it is mostly because of cold and cough both the situations are happening at the same time which is my probably your child is going to fever every night I suggest you talk to your doctor regarding this because of the fever is repetitive only in the night also it’s not a good thing toWrite Your Answer Here
