A. It sounds like your 4-month-old baby boy is coughing frequently—sometimes during peeing or pooping—which may indicate irritation or discomfort in his airways. Frequent coughing can be due to a mild respiratory infection, reflux, or even just normal clearing of mucus. However, if the cough is persistent, worsening, or accompanied by difficulty breathing, fever, or feeding problems, it's important to get him checked by a pediatrician soon. Meanwhile, keep the babies in a smoke-free, clean environment, ensure they are well hydrated, and gently clear any nasal congestion to help ease coughing.
