ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Hello dear Yes ofcourse you an expect irregular menstrual cycles even upto one year after the periods start after giving birth. So keep using contraception to avoid accidental pregnancy as cycles are irregular

Consult your doctor for evaluation and seek further advice. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
