#AskTheExpert I want to know my kid still doesn’t tell me about his toiletries habits , is it common

A. he should be able to tell by now . potty training is basically when child is able to sit independenly and is able to tell prior about urination, defecation sensation. holding child on potty, making child to urinate in potty seat is for your convenience, you can start with that. also look for signs such as pausing for a minute, little straining, taking particular position to pass stools or urine. so its easier to start training and to clean up. usually babies urinate after waking up, after feeding. appreciate child, give stickers, stars when child uses potty for encouragement. get help of books cartoons teaching potty training.

A. hi yes it is normal no worries some babies take time to learn this so please don't force your child for this it is gradual Learning process so please don't expect that a child should learn this in one day please stay calm consistent and positive
