Q.

#AskTheExpert I missed my periods this month ... last period was on 28th September..... I did my pregnancy test which came positive. I test my TSH in the first week of September which was 6.17 ....... is there any issue to proceed with pregnancy..... or is there any chance to shift thyroid to my baby??

A. thyroid is not considered as genetic or hereditary issue except for hyperthyroidism so not depending on that you should decide whether to continue the pregnancy or not you can of course continue with the pregnancy if you are willing and just have a regular follow up about your thyroid with your doctor
