It takes 5-6 months to recover from delivery so have balanced diet with calcium, iron, protein foods, lactating foods if you are lactating.
Breast feed your baby it helps in controlling weight.
Also have more water, fluids, fibre foods (Cereals, Fruits and vegetables,dry fruits and nuts) avoid sugar processed foods,junk,oily, maida recipes which will put on additional weight.
