A. To maintain weight or to keep your baby healthy, it is important that child eats a balanced meal. The meal must consist of proteins from non- veg, pulses, dals, milk and milk products, nuts and oilseeds, fibre from fruits, vegetables, pulses and cereals along with carbohydrates and fats. Keep a gap of 3 hrs between two meals. Avoid excessive sugar, salt, packet foods and ready to eat foods. Along with food it is necessary to keep child active. Physical fitness is equally responsible for healthy weight.
