A. Dear mum, to reduce weight, you can begin to exercise after a resting period of at least 6 weeks after c section. Eat mindfully, avoid high calorie foods, junk food. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake.
