#AskTheExpert Hi, I have 11 months old daughter and now 5 weeks pregnant. First delivery is c section. Now I am getting confused and scared after 11 months of c section I am getting pragnant , it is safe or any physical problem will come. what to do

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. you need to get proper examination about your scar thickness by doing a proper sonography and if the scar thickness is more than 5 then yes you can continue with the pregnancy, but are the wise it is better not

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is advisable to keep a gap of atleast three years between two kids. But still, please get yourself evaluated by a gynaecologist and follow doctors advise properly. As it is difficult to say anything without proper examination. Thanks and take care
