#AskTheExpert Hi Experts, We are expecting our second baby next week and hospital is asking for RT-PCR and CT scan for my wife. I got to know like CT scan is not advisable to pregnant ladies, I will talk to doctor again want to know from experts is CT scan safe. Is it a protocol in hospitals to submit the CT scan reports also. I'm worried about this.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. it may be CT value. see only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust heryou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment
