Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doc i suffered second degree perineal tear during vaginal birthing i want to know how much time it will take to heal completely.I gave birth on 12 Feb 2021.. currently on t-bact ointment and taking warm sitz bath..

A. it depends upon the condition of wound.. keep it dry.. try to have direct air exposure for few minutes daily. eat protein rich diet and stay hydrated. main tain intimate hygiene

A. Hello ma’am With the proper course of medication and treatment you can just get rid of it in another 15 days maybe is not more than that so if your doctor has given apart from that you ask your doctor if you can go for a proper course of antibiotics also for the same
