Q.

#AskTheExpert hello sir/ma'am.. my kid is 4 yrs 5 months old.. he usually gets cold 3 times in a year.. mostly March, April and September/October. I am giving him prescribed medicines.. is there anything else that we can do?

A. if it's persistent it may be due to allergy Hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. hi instead of Medicine ,I would suggest some remedies ,hope it help to prevent it too: so first ,keep your child well hydrated avoid giving cold and sugary food items especially during this time. give citrus fruits more make habit to give turmeric milk atleast once in a day , during this time. give Tulsi leaves with pinch of salt and Turmeric powder, and few drops of lemon juice daily in morning. give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day.
