#asktheexpert Hello, Hope you and your family are staying safe. when can we start giving semi solid to babies. is it advisable to give water to five months old now?( due to summer) or BM is sufficient?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Your little one — if under 6 months old — should be receiving both nutrition and hydration from breast milk or formula, not water. You probably know this, but you might not know why. It's because babies' bodies aren't suited for water until several months after birth.
