Q.

#asktheexpert "Hello Doctor... I am the mother of a 3-month-old baby girl. But my breast milk supply is still low, and she doesn't seem to be satisfied. I also experience pain in my nipples. After breastfeeding, I give her formula milk. Can you please suggest something? Why am I having so much nipple pain, and why is my milk supply still low even after all this time

A. Yes you can give formula milk to the child if you’re feeding is not enough for the child there is no problem in giving formula to the child that way but your focus should be more on breastfeeding and whatever is less amount that you can go ahead with giving formula to the child
