Q.

#asktheexpert 8months pregnant now. I am taking insulin for Gestational Diabetic. Will my blood sugar pass to my baby? some of them saying, if u r having blood sugar it ll pass to baby also. please clear my doubt.

A. It is not true that the baby will get diabetes at birth. There is a chance of hypoglycemia which the doctor will take care of. Even your diabetes will usually resolve after delivery.
