Q.

2 months ago my baby was admitted in hospital for 5 days due to fever and had taken antibiotics for fever. Now we had checked her thyroid level and found her Tsh and T4 values are below the recommended range. Will it be due the effect of the antibiotics taken during the fever period or not.

A. No these things are not effective with antibiotics that you may have given to the child so don’t worry about that it could generally be associated with the thyroid gland of the child antibiotics don’t play any role in this
