Your Baby this Week

Sitting, is in itself an important skill, but it is also an important step towards learning to crawl. Once your baby can sit up, it is only a matter of time, effort and co-ordination before it leads to a movement forward on the hands and knees. Some kids start crawling by 6 months, although most take between 7 and 9 months to the year. It’s not too early to introduce a cup to your baby. Many of the children can take their first sips from as early as 4 or 5 months. Introduction to a cup should be gradual. If your child seems to be having a problem with the cup, consider a different type or brand. Be patient, and you’ll find the perfect one for your baby!
