Ingredients
- 1 cup rava
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 cashew nuts
- 15 raisins
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1/4 cup milk
Method
Step 1
Heat 2 tsp of ghee and roast rava over low flame till rava turns golden brown and you get a nice aroma of roasted rava.
Step 2
Let the rava cool on a plate and then grind it to a coarse powder in a mixer. Grinding the rava to a fine powder will not render the desired texture.
Step 3
Following the rava, grind sugar into a fine powder.
Step 4
To the ground rava, add the ground sugar and cardamom powder. Mix the three well.
Step 5
Now, break the cashew nuts to smaller pieces and fry them along with raisins in ghee and add them to the rava-sugar-cardamom powder mix.
Step 6
Now add milk to the above mixture little by little. Cup the mixture in your palm and check if it holds. If it does, make laddoos and place them on a plate to cool. Add more milk till the mixture holds.
Step 7
Check if the laddoos have hardened and serve.
