Semolina (rava or sooji) 1 cup
Ghee 2-3 Tbsp
Pineapple (chopped) 1 cup
Water 2 ½ cup
Sugar ½ cup
Cardamom Powder 1 tbsp
Saffron 1 pinch
Cashews 10
Raisins 1 tbsp

1. On a medium flame, dry roast the semolina or sooji until it turns aromatic. Once done,        transfer it to a separate bowl and let it cool.

3. Add raisins to it and fry till it swells. Remove these and allow it to cool.
4. Take the pineapple chunks and sauté it in the same pan for 3-4 minutes.
5. Once done, add 3 cups of water to it.
6. Keep the flame low, and slowly add the roasted sooji.
7. Keep stirring continuously to ensure that no lumps are formed.
8. Mix half a cup of sugar and stir regularly. It should not stick to the sides.
9. Now add cardamom powder, cashews, and raisins and mix well.
10. Add saffron to it and mix again.
11. Lower the flame, cover the pan and let the water evaporate.
12. Your pineapple sheera is ready to serve.
