A. A small bump on the right side of a baby's breast is usually normal and can occur due to maternal hormones passed during pregnancy. This condition, called neonatal breast swelling, is common in newborns and infants and may last for a few months. It usually resolves on its own without any treatment. However, if the bump is red, painful, growing in size, or has discharge, it could indicate an infection or cyst, and you should consult a pediatrician. Avoid squeezing or massaging the area, as this may worsen the condition.
