why my 5 month baby (only breastfeeding)cannot pass motion for last 2 days

veronica sharmaMom of a 4 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. even my baby is 4months...at first even I was worried...but it's absolutely normal, because only on breast milk babies don't have enough that needs to be eliminated...it's normal if they don't poop for a week also...I hope this helps..

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. do not worry since you're giving breast milk to baby There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

Constipation Very normal and common at this age so need not worry about it at all that’s absolutely fine also I would like to tell if your child is taking all the feeding properly that you are giving and also your child is passing urine properly then there is nothing you need to worry about
