Whether Breastfeeding mom intake cold food or water or beverages?? I'm a mom of 3month old baby, suddenly my baby is affected by cold cough nd fever I dono y, I've been drinking ice water for about 1 month, people say I shouldn't take any cold items it causes cold for baby, is it true??

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no really, but avoid too cold as if u get infection it transmit to vaby through droplets
Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose.
Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor
