what would be the best medicine for recurring cold followed by cough(as the toddler 3 yr old goes to play school he catches cold frequently) this lasts for a week. then he will be better. again he will catch a new virus. any solution?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and fcold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
