Q.
What to do wen babies get fever after oil bath. My baby is 1 yr 2months old. She got fever due to excess oil in head. Can I wash it off. Or shud i wait for 2 days for fever to settle down n thn wash it off.?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it's unusual, oil bath won't causes fever.. do tepid slinging to him, avoid giving head bath to him till he recover well. it's Better to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

U Should wait for your child to be completely fine and then only you should be going ahead with washing the scalp of the child also I would like to contradict a little bit over here oiling in the scalp can never need to fever it’s a myth so I think there is some another reason so you’ll have to figure that out
