Treatment for cold for 3months baby other than nasivion drops

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cjfough its prescribed.h if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Hi mom. if the child has just the nose block then no need to give any kind of treatment you can you just the below remedies but if the child has severe cold with any other infection kind then you have to consult with the pediatrician. If your child is having cold and cough then you have to give steam to the baby 2 times a day. hold the baby in the bathroom by keeping the shower on also you can hold the baby on the lap and give the steam. even you can use nasal saline drops just before the feed and before the sleep which gives relief from the nasal congestion. also can use Babyhug Nasal Aspirator if there is block of nose. Ajwain and garlic roasted , make a potli and keep near the head of the baby
