Include potatoes and other starchy vegetables in your kid's diet. Add olive oil to your kid's salads and in other healthy recipes. Give bananas, eggs and avocados. Give nuts like almonds, walnuts, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. Give badam halwa or milkshakes garnished with these nuts. Use jaggery. Give pear, pineapple, papaya and mangoes.

Give your kid a high protein diet including eggs, meat, soy proteins and nuts. Include foods rich in carbohydrates like whole wheat bread, pasta and chapatis. Give high calorie fruits like bananas and mangoes. Include foods like full fat dairy products, cream cheese, mayonnaise or puddings made from milk. Ask your doctor whether any vitamin supplements can be given to your kid.
