Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy4 years agoA. corona vaccine can be given to both pregnant women and breastfeeding mother. as per the recommendations mother can take any brand of vaccine which is available in the market for corona infection. also can continue breastfeeding if going on. also mother can go for breastfeeding immediately after vaccination and if fever and pain occurs mother can take paracetamol. the vaccine is totally safe

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! As per the latest guidelines breastfeeding mothers are allowed to take Covid vaccinations. There should be a gap of an hour or two between feeds and vaccinations. If you are still concerned then consult your doctor for further advice. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby.
