suffering from fever, cough.... is breastfeeding safe for baby???

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes can do feeding Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Hi Give indirect steam inhalation Use saline nasal drops Take a good care of your baby Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
