Q.

she has dandruff. can you please tell me the cause and treatment for it. is oiling her hair ok? now or should oil after the dandruff is cured.

A. this is cradle cap and this doesn't need any treatment, it can be seen in new born babies commonly. do's: while doing shampoo rub with index finger gently it will take time to get vanish properly (around 6 months of age his head will clean ), and use baby hair brush after oiling hair it will help to remove excess flakes don't: do not try to remove the layer by your own it can leave injury on head and apply hair regularly as you are doing .

A. this is what I am asking for? dandruff or cradle cap? treatment and causes? I oil her hair. shampoo it twice a week. anything to be avoided? dos and donts. she is 3months old

A. you have not mentioned the baby's age , as I can see baby is 3 months of old so at this age there is no dandruff on head ,the thing you are seeing is called cradle cap and it is a layer which will go slowly, do not try to remove it by your own you can do shampoo and use baby brush gradually it will get vanish
