yes ,as kids have their own likes and dislikes,it is normal for them to reject certain food items.
but to encourage your child for this , I would suggest to be tricky and creative .
I mean ,to encourage your child, instead of serving only sabji on daily basis, you can prepare mix veg soup, paratha , mix veg cutlet and serve it in different shapes like star heart etc using shape cutter.
