Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice ovser the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continuesx beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello nothing as such before vaccination but post vaccination you should keep icepack over the area and also if the baby is having fever then you should put paracetamol and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you
