A. In the 3rd trimester, gentle and safe exercises can help prepare your body for a normal delivery, improve stamina, and relieve discomfort. Here are some helpful exercises (with your doctor’s approval): Walking – A daily 20–30 minute walk improves circulation and stamina. Pelvic tilts (Cat-Cow stretch) – Strengthens back and relieves lower back pain. Butterfly stretch – Improves flexibility of inner thighs and pelvis. Squats – Help open the pelvic area; do gently with support or a wall. Kegel exercises – Strengthen pelvic floor muscles for labor and postpartum recovery. Sitting on a birthing ball – Encourages proper baby position and relieves pelvic pressure. Deep breathing & relaxation – Prepares for labor pain management. Avoid lying flat on your back and any high-impact or strenuous moves. Always listen to your body and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
