It’s quite common to gain weight post c section but you can reduce that with right diet, mindful eating and exercise
Have small and frequent meals
Go for small walks and do not start with any floor exercise or Yoga till 7 or 8 months
Reduce excess intake of ghee, sugar, fried food. Sweets and namkeen
Increase intake of fruits and vegetables, oats, daliya, milk (toned ) , curd, paneer, soya, sprouts and dal and beans ,eggs in the diet
Have 3l of water per day
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. If your fit and healthy without complications after delivery then you may start with basic exercises like walking. Atleast one hour of walking every day czn give you good results. You can also do basic yoga exercises regularly especially surya namaskaram, pranayma these are very beneficial of your body is really fit then you can also go the gym for workout. Start with very simple firm of exercise
