my two month boy suffering from cold. what home medicine can be given

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be mainvjtained .

Try giving indirect steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Use nasoclear saline drops. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil for skin warmth.
