Q.

My son will be 1 year next week, he has cyst at the place of the upper premolar(1st). he already has his 4 front teeth both lower and upper. please suggest what should we do if this is a case of concern or its normal at the time of premolar eruption.

A. In most cases, no, you will not need to have an oral cyst removed. They tend to go away on their own or remain in a harmless state. However, when an oral cyst becomes infected, this is known as an abscess.Check with your dentist.
