My son was given tixylix for cold. does it a steroid medicine

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. no it is not a steroid medicine but a type of dry cough suppressant but it has to be used only for dry cough and not for productive cough and that is back off otherwise it can lead to complication

Hello mom If this medicine is advised by a doctor than you should continue giving a medication because it through might not be contain steroids so you can continue giving a medication as advised by your doctor but there is no need to give any medication till it is not advised by Dr
