my son is having cold since 12 days and doctor suggested me to give nasoclear but still he is having cold please kindly help me

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr old child3 years agoA. he is 2 months old he is not having a running nose but because of that he is having breathing problem I am using nasoclear suggest me something else to use.

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associategtd symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
