Q.

My son is almost three but speak few words only. He is not that fluent in words also and taking too long to communicate.Sometimes I keep calling his name and he doesn’t respond to me. He lacks alertness. He only likes to play and interact with his age group but he is not going to school also. He is taking so much time to speak fluent words . I keep talking to him and keep trying all day. It makes me sick sometimes. Please help doctor.

A. to improve speech -read different books to the child -talk to the child daily routine like the child understands you with regular eye contact -singing songs and rhymes -while talking repeat what your child says with right pronunciation and do not criticize the child -avoid screen time(tv mobile laptopd). leave permit the child to watch the activities that allow to improve his language -take your child outside (open environment) andd have a talk with thed child regarding the things around the child -introduce new words gradually for proper understanding -speak about things child is interested in.
