Q.

my son is 2.8 yrs old . yesterday night he hit his foot with door and his toe nail got little injured..some blood stains were also there..I have applied betadine on that..my question is should I get him tetanus injection..as last injection which is given to 18th mnths old..dtap was expired injection given to him..after taht in sep 2020 we got him injected separately with tetanus dose bcs of some injury..pls suggest what should be the gap between 2 doses..is teatnus dose required now

A. Was The door was wooden know it was made up of iron that’s the one thing I would like to know because if it was wooden then you do not need to worry about it but if it was made up of iron or if there was any kind of restaurant do that then you should definitely get a check with your paediatrician and if needed they will advise you to go ahead with the injection
